Payments Types

Salaried Payment

A recurring payment stream designed for full-time employees. This payment type allows for periodic top-ups, making it ideal for regular salary disbursements. There is no cliff period, ensuring immediate availability of funds as per the schedule.

  • Top-Up: Enabled

  • Cliff Period: None

  • Transferable: Not allowed

  • Automatic Withdrawal: Configurable

Contract Payment

Description: A payment stream for contractors or freelancers tied to specific projects. Includes a configurable cliff period, ensuring funds are locked and released based on agreed milestones or durations. This provides flexibility for project-based payments.

  • Top-Up: Disabled by default (but configurable if needed)

  • Cliff Period: Configurable (default applied based on contract terms)

  • Cancelable: Not allowed

  • Transferable: Not allowed

  • Automatic Withdrawal: Configurable

One-Time Payment

Description: A single payment for ad-hoc or temporary engagements, such as gig workers or task-based contributors. The payment is processed and fully disbursed immediately upon setup, with no periodic disbursement or top-up functionality.

  • Top-Up: Not applicable

  • Cliff Period: None

  • Cancelable: Not allowed

  • Transferable: Not allowed

  • Automatic Withdrawal: Not applicable

  • Start time: Immediately

Commitment Payment

Description: An irrevocable payment stream designed for high-stakes engagements, such as contracts with athletes, performers, or other individuals requiring guaranteed funds. Once created, this payment type cannot be canceled or topped up, ensuring full commitment and reliability.

  • Top-Up: Disabled

  • Cliff Period: Configurable (or optional)

  • Cancelable: Not allowed

  • Transferable: Not allowed

  • Automatic Withdrawal: Enabled
